We’ve tried to make how we process your data as simple as possible to understand. Use the handy table below to check out when, what, why and how we process your personal data, but first:

Art by T.Clark will not share or transfer your data to any third parties. To manage our emails we may save your email address and name on our in-house WordPress system and we will send any orders through Royal Mail, Parcel Force or a carefully selected courier. They will be listed as subscribed to the EU-US Privacy Shield framework which ensures they follow EU laws in their processing and security.

When we take payments from you online or by post:

Art by T.Clark do not take or accept any payments by post.

All payments received will be requested either by invoice or via the on-line shop, via PayPal.

Our on-line shop offers one way to make payments, by PayPal who may retain your information for their own purposes. You can review their policy and procedures by visiting the PayPal website. Art by T.Clark will not store any card or bank details from any customer at any time.

Art by T.Clark banks with Natwest in the UK. Natwest may retain your information for their own purposes. You can review their policy and procedures by visiting the Natwest website.

For invoiced orders only – BACS transfers are the only options of payment. Please see information above about payments by BACS.

International Data Transfers

Art by T.Clark utilises the WordPress services to store and process data. WordPress Inc. are committed to processing information in accordance with EU law, and thus abide by the GDPR.
Don’t worry, your information is safe, all the information we store is done so on a private system and is encrypted, so nobody but us (not even Amazon themselves) can access or view the information we store.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask us to:

  • provide you with a copy of or access to all information we hold about you
  • correct it if it is inaccurate
  • erase it

You can also ask us to stop using your information, in part or in full – the simplest way to do this is to withdraw your consent, which you can do at any time, by emailing, writing or telephoning us using the contact details above.

If our lawful reason for processing your information is not consent and you would like us to stop using it you can submit a request by email, post or telephone. Please use the contact information provided above.

How/where is your data stored?

All personal data is held within Art by T.Clark’s secure network; WordPress server (as detailed in the above International Data Transfer Secrtion).

Art by T.Clark has its own dedicated folder structure, which ensures that only Mrs Tammy Clark (Sole Traider of Art by T.Clark) can see any personal information.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Do we use the illusive ‘Cloud’ to store data or backups, if so how do we keep it safe?

No. All our data is kept and backed-up using our privately secured WordPress account, accessible only with a user name and password. The user name and password is only used and known by the company sole trader, Mrs Tammy Clark.

Are our staff responsible and reliable, and will they look after your data?

Tammy Clark tends to work solo as her unique artwork and design is why many customers choose to visit the Art by T.Clark website, or work with Tammy directly.

However, in the event that a third party is required to work on a project with Tammy, that person/s shall be asked to produce proof that they have been trained in data protection and have policies and procedures in place to make sure your personal data stays safe.

How is paper with personal data on safely and securely disposed of?

We have secure shredding bins in the office, these are locked and secure at all times. When full, the shredded documents are disposed of at a secure local council recycling centre.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
